Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

This is an amazing opportunity to join an iconic brand and New Zealand’s number one source of weather information.   Our high performing sales team are based across New Zealand and work a hybrid of work from home/in office to ensure MetService customers achieve the best service and solutions possible.  Based in our Auckland office, you’ll be managing a portfolio of advertising agencies and direct accounts and working with a genuinely great bunch of people.

You’ll be passionate about weather, as our super smart forecasting team do everything from rocket launch forecasts to how many layers you’ll need the next day.  We believe in doing excellent work and out of the box thinking.

Your innovative mindset and experience in the NZ media market will be put to good use with pitching and developing bespoke content partnerships, bringing creative new content and thinking to our website and App.

In this role you will:

• Identify new and grow existing business opportunities within your account portfolio.
• Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders
• Develop innovative and solution-based advertising opportunities for clients.
• Deliver exceptional client service and work collaboratively with our digital and multi-channel sales teams to deliver joint client goals.
• Champion the MetService brand in market.

He kōrero mōu – About you

• A minimum of 5 years advertising agency and NZ Media market experience.
• Based in Auckland (this role is managing an Auckland portfolio).
• Top client management skills.
• Self-Driven and target orientated
• Digital sales experience is a plus.
