Systems Engineer

We have a new opportunity for a customer focused and results driven individual to join our Infrastructure team. As one of our Systems Engineers you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the operational effectiveness of MetService systems to ensure high availability, reliability and responsiveness.

You will come to us with experience in a similar role and you will have proven knowledge and experience in:

  • Linux server support, Microsoft windows environments and/or network configuration or support.
  • AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
  • Webhosting configuration components
  • Ansible
  • VMWare
  • IP protocols e.g. SMTP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, SNMP
  • Blade systems, SAN storage, file sharing/serving applications and protocols

You will be team-oriented, delivery focussed, a clear and collaborative communicator and someone who enjoys trouble shooting and systematic analysis.
