Application Support Engineer

We have a new opportunity for a customer focused and results driven individual to join our Application team. As one of our Application Support Engineers you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the operational effectiveness of MetService systems to ensure high availability, reliability and responsiveness. This role has a strong service delivery focus and continuous service improvement and it is called upon to provide advice and expertise to support the efficient resolution or closure of incidents and requests. There is also an on-call requirement.
You will come to us with prior experience in a similar role. You will have extensive knowledge of API development and support, Unix / Linux and Windows and scripting languages based on Java, Python, Ansible or other. You will be a team player, a clear and confident communicator and someone who builds positive relationships across an organisation.
